Ship's Departure

A small,
harbored ship
Is departing away.
I'ts long strange journey ended,
The strikes of last summer's storm forgotten,
It is carried on the dark, soft arms of the ocean.
It releases the memories
Of countless harbor rendevous:
The pieces are given,
One by one,
Gently splashing,
To the Western Sea.
Just as the waves recede,
Breaking into bubbles,
The ship is returning
To the original destination.
